The seven-card Horse Shoe is a convenient, basic layout that can be used to answer different types of questions, especially concerning questions where insight would be helpful. Like several other layouts, it has dominoes representing the past, present, and future.
The pinnacle of the Horse Shoe, looking like the top of the mountain, shows the obstacle or challenge that needs to be addressed and overcome. Card #6 suggests a course of action to meet this challenge. The final domino shows the outcome or future, should this advice be followed.
Other clues are provided in Cards #3 and #5, which indicate hidden or outside influences that come into play, affecting the journey to your goal.

The Past Domino represents past events that are affecting the question.
Six/Six
This domino suggests you should listen carefully to the spirits of the air. Your mind should be cleansed of impure thoughts. This sign also suggests that to retain friends or wealth, small offerings should be made. Generally, this is an average sign, neither bad nor good.
Three/Five
Who is capable of catching a piece of paper in the wind? This sign suggests dissipation and energy wasted on small things. Thoughts are scattered and the mind is too distracted to focus well. Advice will not be taken, and you would be better off to perform a ritual to stabilise your thoughts, even if it is difficult.
Two/Five
Spontaneous strength arises from within, like wind fuelling the fire. Dreams and fantasies lead you to your correct path. Activities of power and destruction have great potential when used in accordance with a higher power. More offerings should be made to your spiritual protectors. Results will be good for what you wish to achieve, though works involving water will only be mediocre.
Five/Five
This sign indicates a growth in popularity. There may be fighting, but you will be victorious. Fame may yield fast wealth or fortune in smaller scattered pieces. If dispelling ghosts, you will be successful if you offer small gifts such as tea.
Blank/Four
Remember that you will reap what you sew. Do not allow yourself to become greedy or totally self-absorbed. To do so will leave you isolated and unhappy, even if you had all the money in the world.
Blank/Blank
The Double Blank is perhaps the grandest of dominoes. This domino often symbolises a major change. It is the domino of fate, destiny, providence, and karma. Several new paths will open for you, and you are spiritually and intellectually ready to take them on. However, if this domino is drawn in a single-domino reading, it simply means to ask the question again at a later time.
Three/Three
Wealth increases like a river feeding the ocean. This sign is especially good for works involving water, however marriage or rituals involving fire are not favoured.
