The seven-card Horse Shoe is a convenient, basic layout that can be used to answer different types of questions, especially concerning questions where insight would be helpful. Like several other layouts, it has dominoes representing the past, present, and future.
The pinnacle of the Horse Shoe, looking like the top of the mountain, shows the obstacle or challenge that needs to be addressed and overcome. Card #6 suggests a course of action to meet this challenge. The final domino shows the outcome or future, should this advice be followed.
Other clues are provided in Cards #3 and #5, which indicate hidden or outside influences that come into play, affecting the journey to your goal.

The Past Domino represents past events that are affecting the question.
Blank/Three
That which has confused you will soon become clear. Your ability to think lucidly is reaching its zenith. Solutions to lingering problems will soon be obvious to you, and you may question how it was possible that you did not see this before.
Five/Six
A sign of good fortune, your plans will be fulfilled. There will be good news. However, other people's promises will bear no results. Trust your own feelings, thoughts and drives over those of the people around you. Only you are responsible for deciding the proper path for you, and right now advice from others may not be compatible with your plans.
Three/Five
This sign indicates a great disturbance, and that happiness will be destroyed. There is most likely an enemy, perhaps even a lawsuit. Black magic may have been performed against you. You are being harmed by reciprocal fighting, gossip, or by having gone to a place of much quarrelling. Nothing you do will produce successful results unless you intend to do harm. Now is the time to confront your enemies and settle differences. You should try to find a positive way to vent negative emotions, such as taking action against a perceived injustice. Rituals of making yellow clay stupas representative of deities, saints, or sacred happenings would be beneficial.
One/Six
Your happiness shall increase as when a person hears good news. Studies in art, science, and spirit will yield good results. All activities are favoured, particularly those that involve women.
Two/Five
This is a sign of great strength, and that you will achieve great success at the expense of your enemies. Powerful and destructive activities will meet with great success. Rituals to your spiritual protectors should be continually performed. Works involving earth and water will have difficulties.
Two/Four
This is a bad omen of instability and obstruction. There is danger from enemies and evil spirits. A red article or triangular object you have acquired may be causing you harm. A person in the western direction may be responsible. Obstacles are blocking your success. Only evil activities have good prospects for success.
Four/Four
This is a sign of great prosperity and wealth. Resources will be vast, and things will be very good. Rituals involving earth and wealth energies and construction of stupas, shrines, and the like are beneficial. Rituals of destruction are not beneficial, and there is a possibility of delay in travel or in switching any plans.
